Sometimes life has nice surprises in store for us! In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to have a business meeting with Madame Claire Mainville. I was in a period of reflection about my future and this meeting confirmed my desire for change.

Madame Mainville, being a caterer and in the food service for over 40 years, told me that she was planning to retire soon. She had been hesitating for some time, due to lack of support. The opportunity was wonderful, so I suggested that he take on this sought-after succession, HER succession!

Hence, the name of my company, “Madame M. Traiteur inc” in order to highlight her contribution and leave a legacy worthy of her contribution to the food service in the Acadian Peninsula.

Ms. Mainville and I agreed that I would work with her for a period of one year to ensure a transition and thus ensure a service worthy of her reputation. So, since September 2023, I have been working in collaboration with Madame Mainville in order to acquire her knowledge and experience.
